Hi,
If you have been prescribed Clonazepam, that should suffice for the complaint of sleep. With Melatonin taken together with it, it can lead to drowsiness, which can hamper attention in routine activities and activities like driving which can prove quite dangerous.
Clonazepam should be gradually tapered and stopped over a period of one month, for sleep melatonin and zolpidem are enough along with sleep hygiene. So Clonazepam is mainly for severe anxiety on SOS basis but for long term it must be avoided as it can cause dependence
Melatonin and Clonazepam can be taken together in some cases, but both can cause drowsiness and sedation. It is important to take them under medical supervision to avoid excessive sleepiness or other side effects. I suggest consulting once to guide you properly based on your condition.
