Use of electric toothbrush in braces
I am using conventional ceramic braces .I  would like to buy an electric brush for good cleaning.beacuse my orthodontic toothbrush didn't given good cleaning.  Due to High stain & plaque build up on my tooth.i decided to buy one there are two brands in my consideration.  The brand Realme  N1  & Care Smith. In one of these, the company has provided an extra one with a soft head bristle  i am not a person who supports the brand .I selected both because of they are very cheap &good quality.both them using sonic technology.but  both of them doesn't have any  circular movement.First of all I need to know if these two brushes will cause any damage in my bracket. Is this safe for use? please answer

If you use an sonic toothbrush, the right way there are no chances of debonding your braces. You might be charged for the bracket rebonding.. Do be very careful and ask your orthodontist before trying anything new. Go for brands that are recommended by dentists. Look at it as an investment.  When you go for cheaper brands which are not recommended and not heard of and you dont have any documented research, you may end up harming your teeth in the long run.

Electric brush with ultrasonic vibrations can be used for orthodontic purpose as long as it doesn’t rotate. Secondly your stains could be due to use of mouthwash rinses you might be using. If possible get professional scaling done from a dentist as and when required.
