Hy my mother is diabetic from the past some years her blood sugar is increasing now a days doc suggested to put on insulin if medicines won't work I wanted to ask if one uses insulin for controlling sugar can the person be shift to medicines again after controlling sugar or have to continue insulin forever

Normally we put patients on Insulin for a specific purpose and limited duration. And patients come back to their original control on oral anti-diabetic.
In her case we don't know why she is not responding to oral anti-diabetic.
Once controlled on Insulin, one attempt can be made to bring her back to oral anti-diabetic. If that fails then she will be permanently on Insulin.
