Usage of calcarea phospharica
My father has had a fracture in shoulder 15 days ago. As a remedy, he has been taking calcarea phospharica since 10 days, suggested by a friend, once a day 10-15 pills. Can a specialist suggest if it is safe and required to be taken in this amount

Ofcourse...calac.phos is good remedy for bones&fractures..but the action will b effective based on the Fracture's depth&severity. U r not supposed to use C.P just vaguely for fracture. If its severe,Then its mandatory to get Bandage(POP)&rest..But then also u can use C.P..which helps for rap8d healing. &as other Dr.said,Tjere r few other remedies too in homeo, which helps for this kind of injuries&#s.

The following reply is given under the assumption that surgery is not required for this patient. Any fracture under normal healthy circumstances takes around 6 weeks to heal. During this period giving calcium supplement is not mandatory. If the patient is having osteoporosis or any calcium metabolism related disorders, then can be advised accordingly by the doctors. About usage of Calc Phos for healing of fracture, if you want to use it, use it in triturations and lower potencies like 3X or 6X. Duration of using this medicine needs to be decided by the doctor based on multiple factors related to patient.

Calcarea carbonica is one of the most useful remedy for fracture. But you cannot take too much pills without advice of any homeopath. Because the dose and repetation of the medicine is depend on selection of its potency, physical and mental constitution of the patient and current findings or symptoms of the patient. So, consult nearby homeopath first, then start medicines according to his advice.

Homoeopathic medicine doesn’t act by its quantity. They are energy medicine and single globule or tablet is sufficient if medicine selection is right.
