US does not treat lattice degeneration.
Why is that doctors in US and UK does not treat lattice degeneration prior to lasik? They say only lattices with holes are supposed to be treated. Why do we treat here in India when it's not required. Any unwanted laser is always harmful for eyes, isn't it?

Treating lattice degeneration prior to any ophthalmic surgery is prophylactic procedures which reduces chance of detachment.
