Urinary retention problem
My father ( age 76 ) has a grade 2 enlarged prostate gland.
Around two weeks back his urine wasn't coming out. Then he got a cathedral and started taking Rapilif 8 mg daily at night.
His PSA test was 3.8 , which is normal.
USG test was normal baring the enlarged prostate gland of grade 2 and 40/45 gm in size.
He isn't diabetic. He take blood pressure medicine and ecosprin daily. Around 16 year ago he had a by pass heart surgery.
Overall blood test is normal except the creatinine is on the borderline.
Since childhood he has acidity issues. He has constipation problem.
Does constipation problem causing his urine retention issues?
