Swelling in both feet can happen for many reasons. Since you were told before that your uric acid was high, this could be related to gout, but swelling in both feet can also be from other causes like vein related.
Next Steps
You should get your uric acid levels checked again and have a doctor examine your feet.
Health Tips
Avoid red meat and alcohol, and keep your feet elevated when resting. Take Tylenol for pain .

Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician (Ex Govt Medical Officer at RML Hospital, New Delhi), and your case has been allotted to me. Thank you for sharing your symptoms. Pain with slight swelling in the feet, especially with a past history of high uric acid, is suggestive of a possible gout flare, though other causes like soft tissue strain or arthritis can also present similarly. Based on your history, this needs confirmation before starting or changing treatment. What you should do now • Get serum uric acid tested • Rest the affected foot and avoid excessive walking • Keep the foot slightly elevated • Avoid alcohol, red meat, seafood, and high purine foods • Drink plenty of water • Do not start uric acid–lowering medicines on your own When to consult a doctor immediately • If pain or swelling increases rapidly • If redness and severe tenderness develop • If you have fever • If walking becomes very painful Once reports are available, treatment can be planned accordingly. Early management helps prevent severe pain and joint damage. Please remember that online advice has limitations. A proper one to one consultation allows accurate diagnosis and correct treatment. For personalised one to one consultation on this issue or long term gout management, you can reach out to me directly on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven. Wishing you quick relief and good health. Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
