Upper back pain
I have a severe upper back pain since a week. Day long I don't feel much pain but during the nights it's getting worse. I am worried if it is only a muscular pain or any other serious issue. Because I read somewhere that back pain is a symptom of lung cancer. I do not have any breathing problems.

I don't think it's due to lung cancer. Better check with an physiotherapist and make the proper diagnosis of the problem. May be it's due to muscle tightness and improper posture. Take plenty of water and take rest.
Next Steps
if you are an computer worker then check your workstation with an ergonomist

It has very less to do with lung cancer. If you r a working lady then sitting for long hours and wrong posture is giving u this problem.Your back muscles get tired due to constant use leading to pain, stiffness and uneasiness in doing work. And small facet joints also become locked .
Next Steps
Meet a good physio nearby.learn some back exercises for flexibility and strength and also learn correct posture at work .
Health Tips
drink lot of water heating 15 min will help.
