You may need to give rest to these muscles for a few days by elastic adhesive bandages. Some analgesic with muscle relaxants are advisable for which you may consult me on Practo.
Back ache is a very common problem and most of the time it will respond to some exercises for the back and painkillers. But if it doesn't respond then you should consult with an Orthopedic surgeon for physical examination and investigations and further management.
