Unstable diabetes
For the last 35 years suffering from type 2 diabetes.insulin dependent for 18 years. On Nov 2014 and on April 2015 cardiac stents were put and statins and cardiac medicines were advised. From that time my total cholesterol has been less than 90. In month of July 2015, I noticed sudden drop blood sugar to 90 at 11 am . Hitherto I observed low of 55,60 during mornings.As the sugar fluctuates from 300 to 55 without any known factor, went for insulin pump to control. Not successful so far. Please advice

For controlling fluctuating sugars you should do SMBG charting at home & accordingly insulin dosage and insulin type can be changed. Normally in such cases basal bolus insulin regimen works better than premix twice regimen.
