Unknown persistent coughing
My mother has persistent dry coughing everyday since about a year, not continuous but frequently in a day at times. No phlegm or cold symptoms. 1)Her chest xray , PFT, echocardio are normal on routine check. 2) She is recently diagnosed with TSH of 10 and liver disease. She does have stomach issues and anemia. 3)About a year ago, we had a family member with swine flu and mother had symptoms but was not tested and was given antibiotics based on symptoms. *What can be the cause, treatment, and whom to consult??
