Persistent cough
Dear Doctor, My daughter is having a severe cough with chest irritation. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and inhalers. Post antibiotics after a week again she s experiencing cough chest irritation and sore throat tiredness. Attached is the x ray took last week. Kindly check the x ray and tell me if the lungs are healthy and good.

Hello, u mentioned that after antibiotics course the cough has come back, but u did not mention that is she taking inhalers still or have u stopped them 1. Continue with the inhalers for sometime and see if cough goes away 2. share a video of how was she taking the inhaler if she is relieved with it

Xray can be normal in case of persisting chronic cough because upper airways even acid reflux can also cause chronic cough. Please get urself screened
