1. Create an effective learning space away from the distractions of your home.
That means away from your TV, game console, or comfortable sofa. Ideally, a desk or table where you can sit upright. If possible, keep the study room door closed during class. This blocks noise from the rest of the house and prevents nosy family pets and young siblings from colliding with the classroom.
2. Wear headphones
Preferably noise canceling headphones. So that you can hear your teacher and classmates better while blocking out ambient and unpleasant noise. Music also helps you focus on your homework. Listen to soft background music while you work.
3. Take notes.
Writing down notes during class is a good habit to help you learn and get involved. When you take notes, it has something to do with your hands and you can remember the first impression of the course content.
4. Use a timer to pause the day so you don't get overwhelmed by your studies and homework.
Set timer notifications for restroom breaks, meals, entertainment, and time to return to books.
5. Refuel with a snack.
Just as it's hard to stay focused when you're thirsty, it's hard to stay focused when you're hungry. Try protein-focused snacks such as nuts and hummus to avoid crashing candies and candies.
6. Get enough sleep to focus and be productive.
Try to be as consistent and normal as possible in your online learning schedule, such as wake-up time and bedtime. Getting proper night's sleep has been shown to help improve performance, develop better memory, and improve mood.
7. Avoid Social Media
One of the biggest and most time-consuming pastimes of the day. You can put your smartphone in silent or airplane mode, or use apps and browser extensions to limit time on different platforms. Use social media only as an aid to motivation during breaks or when completing certain tasks.
8. Keep your weekly calendar and schedule up-to-date
A calendar will remind you of class time and homework and study time. Make a note of your daily to-do list and check it one by one. Lists all the tasks that need to be performed and that take the longest to order when prioritizing where to start.
9. Continue hydration
When you're thirsty, it can be difficult to focus. Regular hydration is important, so consider bringing a glass of water into the classroom.
