I would like to know that are ultrasound obstetrics and Level-I ultrasound similar?? if not, then what is the difference between them. Our gynae prescribed us to undergo Level-I ultrasound but when we enquire to the diagnostic lab they consider it USG obstetrics. kindly guide..

No thy are not
Ultrasound obstetrics means any ultrasound done In pregnancy
Level 1 is to look fr nasal bone n nuchal thickness
So all ultrasound done in pregnancy will be ultrasound obstetrics
