Hello doctors
I'm 16 week pregnant. I've had my NT scan in 12th week & Anomaly scan is scheduled in 19th week.
I wanted to ask whether anomaly scan & tiffa scan are same??
Also after getting anomaly scan which other scans need to be done till delivery??

The scans are different as nt scan looks for signs of aneuploidy while anomaly scan looks at all the organs. If it comes normal, and you have no other medical problems, you will next need a growth scan at 34-36 weeks.
After anomaly scan, if everything is normal
You can go for interval growth scan at around 28-30 weeks and doppler at around 34 weeks. That much is sufficient.
Some consultant may prefer to go for fetal echo scan at 22-24 weeks.
But if is there any complication of baby’s growth or water level around baby or decreased blood flow to the baby .. you might require some additional scans.
Anomaly scan and tiffa scan are the same, after anomaly scan we do growth scan at ariund 32-34 weeks, inbetween scans can be considered based on your pregnancy progression.
