Ulcers and gun infection
Hey, I got ulcer underneath of last lower jaw teeth. Even gum at that area got infected. When I visited doctor they gave gel and suggested "OK" tablet but still ulcer did not go away. I visited another doctor who gave one ointment called "Lexanox Plus" after using this there was a result. Gum infection got cleared but Ulcer z not going away. Am worried as I checked in Google it's a symptom of mouth cancer if ulcer doesn't go in one month. Please help me.

Don't worry it's not cancer... Its a problem of wisdom teeth of both upper and lower jaw which is biting gums appearing in between them... I know most of the cases that wisdom teeth don't erupt in a proper alignment so if it is infected then go for xray and if want Permanent relief go for surgical removal of teeth.

How long u have the ulcer ?? Let me know the duration . Oral ulcers take a weeks time for healing . U can send me the photograph of the ulcer . Is there any sharp teeth , which is impinging in that region ?? As i m oral medicine specialist ,i can treat u , but after seeing d photographs

Hello,
Donot panic.
An ulcer and infection takes time to subside.
I would advise you to use the same ointment for a week.
If incase it doesn't subside you need to visit a nearby dentist for thorough checkup. Preferably an MDS in oral medicine.
If incase it's an abscess... U may require IND or RCT.
Next Steps
Luke warm salt water gaurgle 3-5 times a day
