Ulcerative colitis symptoms have flared
I have ulcerative colitis and was on medication, recently symptoms flared up and even after 40 mg of predisolone steriod situation not improving.on earlier occasions when on steroid situation always controlled

If you are an already diagnosed patient on ulcerative colitis and your symptoms did not improve on oral steroids then you should consult a gastroenterologist as you may require intravenous drugs

You have not mentioned when did you underwent your last Colonoscopy. You should not self medicate yourself with steroids. Please consult doctor for treatment under supervision.
