Dear miss If this is confirmed and the thing comes under remission till then Ur current medications is reasonable. Bcz UC is chronic u need some medication to keep it under control. Steroids could be slowly weaned off once acute exacerbation subsides. Best is to keep belief in treating medical team and follow-up regularly. If UC is kept under control then most could lead a normal life.
