Ulcer on leg could be due to various reasons.  If it has been there for such a long duration,  it could be due to a problem in blood vessels..  Like venous ulcers or arterial ulcers..  Proper diagnosis of the problem is need for proper treatment.
Next Steps
If u stand for long hours,  try keeping leg elevated to help in recovery.
