Please go for a basic blood test and look if there is any need for modification of treatment. Keep him hydrated. Take care.

It can happen that fever may come for 1 day inbetween. If it continues tomorrow, then get repeat blood test done. Check temperature in armpit by regular thermometer. Any temp below 100.5F in armpit, is not fever. No medicine for that.

If it was typhoid, the fever would have come down to below 100°F within 5-6 days of taking the antibiotic.
Next Steps
Either the diagnosis is wrong or the medicine dosage is wrong.
Health Tips
Also, if the fever above 100°F is persisting for 11 days, some blood tests will be required.
