I understand you’ve stopped galvusmet and started amaryl. As far as I am aware amaryl comes as semi amaryl 0.5mg and not 5mg. It is Glimiperide which comes in different strengths such as 0.5mg, 1mg, 2mg.
When sugars are uncontrolled we usually add another medication or change the dose rather than stopping it.
This needs to be done under medical supervision on advice of doctor.
So please check the dosage of amaryl tablet and consult your nearest physician regarding this.
