Fasting sugar level keeps below 50
I am diabetic for @ 8 years, sugar was under fair control. Recently I am facing the issue of my fasting sugar keeping low (below 50). Taken package checkup and results are HbA1c - 6.9, alkaline phosphatese level 149.66. Kindly suggest, medicines stopped due to low sugar.

Hi It's Hypoglycemia. You need to decrease the dose of Diabetes medicines plus ALP is high so evaluate Vitamin D level also it must be low.

Check fbs, ppbs, creatinine,hb Hba1c looks controlled.. Need to look at fbs,ppbs, creatinine and few other tests to find the cause . Medicine dose needs to be reduced or stopped depend on the current dosage.. Consult online for further guidance
