Hi Sunil, you seem to be having chronic sprain of the ankle. Avoid gel insoles as it's not advisable for chronic sprain with laxed ligaments. It seems you had undergone physiotherapy for short term goals like mobility and pain management and not for long term goal like strengthening. Use of ankle stirrup braces can help in protecting ankle from extreme ranges while commuting and remove it after reaching office. Consult with your Physiotherapist who will advise you with strengthening exercises using resistance bands, balance boards and later to vigorous training on trampoline. This will help you to get back to your favourite sports.
Health Tips
Take care not to injure yourself while climbing downstairs. Avoid crossing feet as it will further lax your ankle ligaments.
