All Fraternal (non identical) twins are Dichorionic but the reverse is not true all the times. A small percentage of Dichorionic twins can still be identical. Monozygotic (identical) twins, which form when a single zygote splits into two, can also be dichorionic, depending on the timetable of the split. If it is early, within a few days after fertilization, two separate blastocysts will implant independently, resulting in dichorionic-diamniotic (di-di) twins. Only about thirty percent of monozygotic twins fall into this category. Whether your twins are identical or not, you will know only after they are born. If one is a boy and other is a girl, obviously they are non identical. If they have different blood groups, they are non identical. If they are the same sex and have same blood group then there is a possibility that they are identical.
