I have swelling in vagina right side (labia majora) with mild pain. And as per consultation with an experienced Gynecologist I came to know that I have bartholin cyst(3*4cm). And the option provided by her to me. To get rid of this is surgery i.e marsupialization of bartholin cyst.
And it will cost up to 60-70k including all.
Are there other options rather than surgery to treat it !!!

Medicines can be tried but the problem will only be recurring without surgery. If the cost is a problem, you can consult in a government or smaller level hospital.

Hello dear,
First I would like to appreciate the fact that you did go to a gynecologist and did not just google your symptoms to come to a conclusion.
Now , since our diagnosis is made and is very specific, I would like to tell you that , your doctor is correct and that, surgery is best option, as bartholins always cause a relapse.
However surgery can be done only if the swelling is still persistent.
Next Steps
consult with all your reports and cost of surgery can be discussed.
I can totally understand ur feeling
U can start antibiotics and nsaids
And If its causing too much of pain which is making u difficult to walk - in that case incision and drainage of the cyst is advised
But the definitive management is marsupialisation
