Hi, was treatement just surgery or surgery and radiation.
Generally coming out from head and neck cancer treatment, high protein high calorie food is what i recommend. No specific food restrictions but If he recently underwent surgery, and if the wound is still raw, avoid spicy and hot food.
High protein high calorie food would entail diet rich with eggs (1 whole +upto 5 more egg whites), dairy products, ragi/barley blends, dry fruits, any good source of protein, veggies and fruits
Diet would also depend on whether he is able to eat full fledged solid diet, what is his current weight, physical activity, recent weight loss, is he a diabetic, his food preferences.
