When choosing a toothpaste, it's important to look for one that has fluoride, as fluoride helps to strengthen the enamel and prevent tooth decay. You may also consider looking for a toothpaste that is specifically designed for your oral health needs, such as toothpaste for sensitive teeth or toothpaste for enamel protection.
In India, there are several reputable toothpaste brands available that offer a range of options. Some popular toothpaste brands in India include Colgate, Pepsodent, Sensodyne, Close-Up, and Himalaya Herbals. These brands offer various toothpaste formulations to address specific oral health concerns.
It's a good idea to consult with your dentist or dental hygienist for personalized recommendations based on your specific oral health needs. They can assess your oral health condition and provide guidance on the best toothpaste for you.
Remember, maintaining good oral hygiene practices such as brushing twice a day, flossing daily, and regular dental check-ups are also important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

It is the brushing technique and not the toothpaste used, which has more effect on maintaining the oral hygiene.
Unless you have sensitivity issues or any other gum issues, no specific medicated toothpaste is required.
Hi unless and until you have sensitivity or any particular tooth condition a medicated toothpaste or mouthwash is not recommended.
Any long term use of a medicated toothpaste is not advisable.
Using a regular fluoridated toothpaste along with brushing twice daily is sufficient to maintain good oral hygiene.
Always remember it's the right technique of brushing that will effectively help in keeping the mouth clean.
Flossing prior to Brushing is a must.
Also do not rinse immediately after brushing, if using a fluoridated toothpaste,
wait for about 8 to 10 mins before rinsing.
Hello good Afternoon....
Your Dentist is right....their is no need of any specific or medicated toothpaste.
Long term use of medicated toothpaste is not advisable when your oral cavity is healthy.
You can use any brand toothpaste just use pea sized amount of it.
