Toothache from past 2 weeks. Swollen che
I am a severe pain in one of my tooth The same side is swollen too. Mostly it's a RCT. I want to know how many sittings will be required and Ifir the process will be painful?

hello, you can do warm salt water rinses it will help u to reduce the swelling and give u temporary relief from pain. visit a dentist and get it checked.get an x-ray done. if there is infection to the root of tooth get it treated.then get a crown placed over it.it might take 3-4 sittings to complete the entire procedure.

Hi. Rct will take about 2 to 3 sittings since you have a swelling. It is not at all painful. In fact in most cases it is absolutely painless as it is done under local anaesthesia. Regards, Dr Varun Bhatia

The sittings for root canal treatment would depend on the amount of infection present.I there is a swelling root canal filling is generally done after the swelling subsides.Local anesthesia takes care of the pain.Post Root canal antibiotics and pain killers are given
