Gingivectomy is not a part of orthodontic treatment..both are different procedures..gingivectomy is done only if it is required..don't worry about that

See gingvectomy is a procedure where the excess gingival tissue is removed for aesthetic appearance... During orthodontic treatment if the gingivectomy is required it can be done... Your orthodontist will explain you for your gingival condition is gingivectomy required or not... Don't worry it's a simple procedure..
