Visit your dentist asap. It could be a sign of chronic irreversible pulpitis where in your pulp gets a slow death over a period of time A radiograph would be required to assess the exact problem. Good luck!!!!

A fractured Restoration and secondary caries is suspected. It means that your tooth has started to decay below the filling. Most likely it has to be treated by a Root Canal treatment. For instant relief of pain take tablet keterol DT.  Visit a dentist.

Getting a filling done does not give an insurance that the tooth cannot have a cavity again. Your symptoms point to the fact that the tooth has got re-cavitated and will require root canal treatment because now it is affected by Irreversible pulpitis. Delaying the treatment or trying to treat it only with medications should be avoided because it will cause for the damage to continue and the symptoms are bound to reappear after sometime. Regards.
