Tooth luxation
I have had an accident on July 29th and upper incisors got displaced..as far as my search into dental terms probably it will fall under extrusive luxation category..I went to an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and on 6th of August he fixed arch bar which he advised to keep for minimum 6 weeks..but I see that one incisor is not repositioned or now below the actual level before..I am very worried..he will do root canals and tell me that this apporx 1 mm below level he will try to manage in root canal.. what should I do next.. what is your suggestions regarding my teeth

As per your concern your issue will be resolved once the crown is placed
Secondly for better assessment a picture or an XRAY is required !
But i would say your dentist is treating the case clinically and definitely you should trust his opinion as he will be doing the best of his abilities! Trust him and not google ! :))

Displacement of incisors can be due to
- simply luxation of teeth
-root fracture
-dentoalveolar fracture
-maxillary bone fracture
If an arch bar has been fixed ,it is simply to hold it together till initial healing takes place.
Root canal is advised as the teeth will become non vital and discolor.
The length discrepancy can be managed later by crown .

An xray and or a clinical picture will be useful. The repositioning should have been done as early as possible - but I suspect if it is stable, not hurting, and not too displaced, an endo and a crown or a veneer should take care of your concern.

Once the tooth has stabilized and becomes firmly adapted to the bone, Root canal treatment can be done if necessary. Let the initial healing take place and then the next line of treatment can be decided after 6 weeks.
Follow the advise given by your dentist properly. Maintain a good oral hygiene.
