Tooth hurts
I recently started experiencing teeth sensitivity. At first, it only hurt when I drank cold water. But now, the pain is happening even without cold drinks. On the first day, my lower front incisors were hurting on their own. The next day, the pain shifted to my lower front left canine. Today, both my incisors and canines (upper and lower) are hurting. I’m worried because the sensitivity seems to be spreading. What could be the reason, and what should I do? Are these because of cavities? I do not see any black marks on my teeth. When i try and lick or scratch my teeth with my nail it feels sensitive.

Well sensitivity often causes due to lost or worn out tooth structure. It may also be due to gum disease sometimes but considering your actions like scratching/ licking ..it's quite clear that it's due to worn out tooth structure .You may visit a dentist and he vl prescribe you a toothpaste according to the level of sensitivity you have .

Hello! Your symptoms suggest generalized tooth sensitivity, which may be due to enamel wear, gum recession, or early cavities even if no black spots are visible. Please avoid using your nails to scratch teeth. Use a desensitizing toothpaste twice daily and avoid very cold or acidic foods. An intraoral check-up with X-ray is advised to rule out cavities or other causes. Kindly consult a dentist at the earliest for proper evaluation and treatment
