In your age this problem is  generally associated with the wisdom tooth. Some rimes tissue grow next to it and become swollen n painful. As you have got cleaning done already so Keep that area very clean. Use Clohex mouthwash n chew from that side frequently.

Do warm salt water gargles. Consult a dentist to check out if it’s a tooth infection or the gums are affect. An X-ray if that area may be helpful
