My son is a 7. 8 years old. His new teeth are growing. A pediatrician has advised him an iron tonic. He is taking it on the daily basis but his front growing teeth are getting discolored. Is it normal? Can he continue with that iron syrup or should he stop taking this syrup till his new teeth are fully grown. Will his teeth get white back by their own laterly ?

staining due to iron supplement syrup is normal. the only concern is the tooth taking up the stains might get permanent as the erupting tooth has immature enamel and are likely to take up stains.
Next Steps
my suggestion would be as the child is nearly 8yrs old, please train him to take the tablets as it will serve dual purpose, it will not only help him to avoid stains but also these medicated syrup contains high amount of sugar that can cause cavities

Usually iron tablets cause staining of teeth and discolor if taken during the developmental stages of tooth.
The type of discoloration which you are talking about has to be examined clinically. If it is intrinsic stains then it will not go by brushing or professional cleaning by dentist. But if it is extrinsic stains then it would disappear.
So, it needs to be distinguished first.
Next Steps
Advise to visit a Pediatric dentist.
Then may be consult Pediatrician accordingly, for some other substitute of iron syrup which does not cause staining/discoloration.
This is normal as the syrups usually contain pigments which discolor the the teeth. However, you have to make sure that you child brushes really well so that these stains do not increase. You don't have to stop taking the iron syrup which has been prescribed. Stains can always be removed by professional cleaning by a dentist. Until then, make sure your child brushes well.
