Hi.. please visit my clinic in Pune for free consultation.I can check it for you to confirm if the tooth can be saved. Its always better if the milk tooth remains in place till the permanent tooth starts coming.
The treatment plan will depend on the condition of the tooth which needs either pictured of the tooth along with the x ray. We try to save the teeth as much as possible because she is too small and needs the milk teeth for some period of time. This is for the back teeth. In case of front four teeth upper and lower, they shed by 6-7 yrs of age. If Dr has suggested removal of those due to infection there is no problem.
Sometimes back teeth are also so badly damaged that they need removal. In that case we give space maintainers to avoid crowding of permanent teeth which come later.
Please consult in case of further queries
Tooth removal at this age is not recommended as it might damage the permanent teeth which will be below that teeth, need to check with X-ray before deciding on the treatment.
