My 5 year old son has tooth cavity and filling is coming out every time so I think we need to put some kind of cap on that tooth. Please let me know whether it is safe to do this ? And what is the procedure for this ? I mean whether it involves any pain or pain free ?

Consult a pedodontist,,there are custom-made caps or crowns for milk teeth of children,,he will take measurement and place the crowns after few days,,but remember prior to all this ,an X-ray is a must to see the depth of the carious or decayed lesion.
