Hi! You can switch to a normal toothbrush for toddlers . However, the choice of toothpaste can be determined by an assessment of his teeth’s health by a pediatric dentist. If your child has any cavity or chalky white lesion on teeth, he/ she will require extra fluoride in toothpaste.
Next Steps
Visit a pediatric dentist.

You should have started using a toothbrush a lot earlier. From now on use a soft bristled brush with pea sized amount of any fluoridated tooth paste to brush his teeth a gently twice daily. Clear the kids tongue coat and make him aware about the necessity of tooth brushing. Keep a check on the teeths. Make him gaurgle evrytime he eats. Avoid mid meal snacking and giving milk throughout nights.

Hi. No you cannot use Colgate tooth paste in a 2year old as it has 1000ppm of fluoride . Till your child is 6 year old we give child 500 ppm of fluoride. Use Kidodent, Gelly Belly or any toothpaste that has 500 ppm of fluoride. And use pea size toothpaste only. And brush twice daily

Hi. Yes u can and I think, you should. Give him the brush. Let him brush on his own. Just teach him to brush in a circular motion. Use any toothpaste which has flourides in it....flourides prevent cabities....Colgate toothpaste may have a strong flavor. If he likes, ok, or else use the toothpaste which your son likes. The idea is, that your kid shouldn't get aversed to it. That's all... Also keep checking his teeth, time to time. If u see any black or brown spot, do visit a dentist immediately...
