Hello mam,
Gum inflammation may be due to prolonged tartar contact to the gum this may lead to redness of gum, bleeding gums ,pocket formation exposure of tooth root, followed by gum loosening . So you have to take immediate treatment I.e scaling and polishing to remove the tartar and maintain by using mouth wash , floss, brushing Twice daily . And scaling has to be done every 6 months to maintain oral hygiene.
