Tooth alignment duration
I am recently put ceramic conventional braces on teeth I would like to know how much time it takes to properly align my teeth .I already asked this question many times before but I  need to exactly how much time it's take.many cases  doctors said it takes 1.5 yrs ,but many of other cases it's take much longer about 3yrs .iam using conventional type ceramic brackets.i Heard ceramic brackets doesn't work like as  metal.it's take much longer than metal.i didn't have any x-ray report.iam 26 yrs old now, before bracing my 4 tooth was extracted &I have  2 crooked teeth on my upper area  &I will upload some of tooth picture of mine, kindly check &tell exactly how much time it require exactly?

Hi practo user, Usually the treatment takes 1- 1.5 years and not more than that. But retainers will be placed , which might be temporary or permanent depending on the condition during braces removal.

It usually takes 1.5 years for a simple case where the teeth can be straightened just by using brackets and wires.Metal brackets and ceramic brackets function similarly,it's just that ceramic brackets are more esthetic.If it requires use of elastics or micro implants,the treatment duration increases.Hope this was helpful.
