Tonsil swollen
Is the tonsil swollen on one side? My husband feels like it's swollen and feels pain(one-side) in throat and ear, 1 year almost. Asymmetrical tonsil means Tonsil Cancer( courtesy. Google).. I am terrified , been to lots of ENTs (Neck USG, CT-PNS, Laryngoscopy all normal)but no ENT has ever told about the asymmetrical tonsil.

Assymetrical tonsils can also be seen in chronic tonsillitis. Please stop googling your symptoms. There is pharyngotonsillitis. U'll need treatment for that

Both the tonsils are infected. Looks like He has tonsillo-pharyngitis.There is discharge dripping into his throat from the back of nose also, so likely he is having sinusitis also. Please send all the previous prescriptions and scan reports. Its a very common problem, nothing to worry. He needs proper treatment thats all.
