Tonsil on both sides of Throat.

Hi Doctor, I have been suffering from Tonsils since childhood, and once in every two years and specially during winter season I get this Tonsils severely.. Now I had this tonsil on right side of Throat along with high fever, body pain, and chilling since 3 days.. I consulted local doctor here and he advised to take Zefu 500 and Zerodol P morning and night, i have anyhow took for 2 days plus today morning too which totals 5 doses, but my throat pain is still there without any improvement and I got the tonsils on my left side of throat too now and difficult in swallowing water saliva and any food and pain in severe, and the tonsils are red inside on both. Fever temperature is normal now, body is little, I have headache and severe Tonsils pain. Should I change the medicine? Or treatment, please suggest. Thank you in advance for your response.
