Tonsil infection
Hi, I have tonsil infection.. 1 side of tonsil got swell, it's hard like .. marble. No pain at all. I visited hospital, Dr gave me medicine mouth wash, Paracetamol 500 and Azithromycin 500. I observed, after taking Azithromycin 500, I am facing diarrhea for 1/2 hrs..then normal. Plz suggest, is it normal or I have to stop that medicine.

plz don’t worry mam, stop azithromycin and start tab cefpod 200mg twice daily for 5 days mam..

Its antibiotics associated diarrhoea, if its mild then no problem u can continue azi and also take darolac capsules or sachets twice a day for the diarrhoea. If the diarrhoea is moderate or severe u need to stop thr antibiotic ie azi
