Hello sir,
Pain while chewing and a clicking sound means that your temporomandibular joint could be affected. There are multiple reasons for pain in the TMJ please get it checked by a dentist and rectify it before it becomes too severe. Untill then stick to a soft diet and do not open your mouth too wide. Warm compressions also help. Further instructions can be given to you after I do an examination. Feel free to visit the hospital or any of the other clinics close to your residence.
