Stopping of Gutka or tobacco itself would not relieve your sub mucous fibrosis. U need proper laser keratomy of your fibrosis. We can cut open the fibrous bands of fibrosis by Diode lasers, which we have been pioneers in using for the last 15 years. Plz feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre anytime. God bless.

OSMF once developed will not improve soon after tobacco cessation. However the stoppage of gutka/tobacco will definitely decrease the chance of deterioration. Consult an oral surgeon with regard to the improvement of mouth opening that he desires.
