Tmj disc or joint issue?Pain in jaw, neck
I have constant sore and burning pain in the lower jaw under ear and neck for more than 10 months now. seen multiple dentists and doctors. no definite answer yet. the oral surgeon took CbcT scan of tmj. I got the report by myself from a radiologist..need an opinion for this report. do I have any disc dislocation or jaw joint issue? I have clicking and popping sound in the jaw. have ear clogged feel, ringing sound. I have a lump in the lower jaw under ear which hurts to touch since May'20. I have a small hard lump which hurts and same size since June. took CT scan and ultrasound of neck to check these and no abnormalities found..is this small lump could be a trigger point? oral surgeon said it's Myofascial pain and asked to do PT. tmj specialist said to get his expensive splint for the pain. he said some issue in the tmj joint. need another opinion. attached the report and xray. will it cause constant pain in neck and under ear? I had Rct on 46 as dentist suspect root fracture in it.
