TMJ Arthralgia and impacted wisdom tooth

Hi, I am having TMJ arthralgia since a month and also impacted wisdom tooth on same side. I am having relief with painkillers and hot fomentation and volini as advised. It's much better than before. I wish to know can TMJ arthralgia be caused by impacted wisdom tooth? I don't have radiating pain or anything. My OPG is normal. TMJ is normal on x ray. Please advise.

Yes third impacted third molar causes several symptoms as it's near TMJ. You need to to extract that 3rd molar.
