Tiredness 20 days t 3 and tsh high,t4 no
I have been suffering from tiredness since last 20 days my blood report shows t 3 3.17 nmol/l and tsh 11.01 uUl/l t4 is normal my wieght is increasing and i fell sleepy all the day doctor has given me THYROX 25 macleods and amitriptyline hci 10 mg us it okay to take this medicine or i consult some other specialist please tell me what food to eat to recover from it and in how much time i can recover compleyely

Hello dear patient, you are diagnosed with hypothyroid, so you need to take thyrox tablet, TSH blood test has to be repeated after 3 to 4 weeks to decide if your dose need to be changed or not. Regarding amitryptiline it can cause sleepiness so you can stop that after consultation your doctor.
