Hi,
I take medication regularly after food at night. Recently I read an article mentioning that there should be a certain time gap between food and medicine. On my medicine description it is written that "medicine can be taken with or without food."
Does taking medicine right after the food reduces its effectiveness? If no, could you please suggest me an ideal time gap.
Thank you.

It depends on which medicine you are taking. Some medications should be taken before food, some after food and some with meals. Details of medications that you are taking are needed.
