My mother aged 68 years is regularly taking antidiabetic medicine named sitared md xr 1000 before dinner. But today she forgot to take it before dinner and she consumed it after dinner as she remembered sometimes after dinner, so with this any harm or no problem? and like this whenever she consumes it after food whenever she forgets to take it before food, would it be ok? Occasionally, it is acceptable to take medication after a meal instead of before. However, antidiabetic medication should be taken before meals to effectively control blood sugar levels. If taken after a meal, the medication may be less effective. It is recommended to take the medication before meals consistently. While taking the medication after a meal once or twice may not have significant consequences, it should not become a habit.
Health Tips
1- Take antidiabetic medicine on time - before food.
