Thyroid test
Hi , My wife is taking thyroid tablets from quite a long. She was taking 25 mcg of eltroxin . Just before three months of delivery one of the endocrinologist increased the dosage to 50 mcg as the test results were on high range. From then till two years of delivery she was on the same dosage of 50 mcg . we got her thyroid tests done three months back. The figures were quite high ( T3- 0.89 ng /ml , T4- 6.33 if/dl , TSH-12.34uIu/ml). Hence one more endocrinologist suggested her to take 100 mcg dosage. Today we got the test done. Her results are as follows . T3- 1.12, T4-9.15, Tsh-0.18. Is there any improvement.Should we reduce the dosage ?
